We are One through Christ in Love.

The Call to Serve

These words rang in my ears as The Sol Collective began to be unveiled. “God gave me love and I am love. He gave me my words, so I am a man of my word. He gave His Word and nothing else matters.”

Welcome to The Sol Collective

Thank you for visiting The Sol Collective! My prayer is that this space becomes a community where entrepreneurs, servant leaders, and believers gather to share stories, inspire one another, and glorify God. Here, we aim to build each other up, listen with open hearts, and form lasting connections. Most importantly, we want to embody the love and encouragement that come from walking in faith with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

As 1 Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” That’s the mission here—fostering a community where grace, love, and service thrive.

A Little About Me

My name is Romallus Dew. I’m a follower of Christ, a devoted husband to Stephanie, and a proud first-time dad to our beautiful baby girl, Soleila Ray! I’m also an educator, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner. I hold a B.A.Ed. degree in Human and Organizational Leadership Development from UNC-Chapel Hill where I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. By day, I teach 8th-grade math in Central Texas, navigating the transformative yet challenging world of middle school education.

Teaching wasn’t a random choice—it’s a calling. Growing up, I witnessed how a lack of education limits opportunities. It creates barriers where there should be bridges. My mission as a teacher is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed, not just academically but in life. Through Grace & Grit Virtual Academy, I aim to provide extra support for students beyond the classroom, helping them practice, persevere, and excel.

Before stepping into the classroom, I worked in operations and human resources, managing recruitment and training for thousands of employees. But something was missing. I realized I wanted to tackle the root causes of inequity and empower the next generation from the ground up. That’s why I’m here—to serve, to teach, and to love.

The Heart of The Sol Collective

The Sol Collective was born out of a desire to serve. Our projects are a reflection of what we value most: faith, family, and love in action.

  • JD Babies: Inspired by my daughter, we create premium, bamboo baby clothing that wraps little ones in love and comfort.

  • Grace & Grit Virtual Academy: A tutoring platform designed to give students the tools and confidence they need to succeed in math and beyond.

  • Mama Sol’s Soul Food Catering Company: A family-owned business delivering quality soul food and Filipino cuisine to our community.

These ventures are united by a single purpose: to show the love of Christ in every service we offer. As 1 Peter 4:8 says, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

Why Love is the Greatest Commandment - Jesus Did!

The Bible teaches us that love is not just a feeling—it’s an action, a mandate, a lifestyle. Jesus Himself demonstrated the ultimate act of love by laying down His life for us. Through Him, we see that true love means serving others selflessly.

Mark 9:35 says, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” This verse is at the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s mentoring students, offering a hot meal, or encouraging a stranger, love is what connects us and reflects the character of Christ.

Faith in Action

Starting The Sol Collective has been a journey of faith. At first, I overthought everything—paralyzed by imposter syndrome and consumed by the need to “get it right.” But God reminded me to trust Him. As Isaiah 61:1 declares, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of prisons to them who are bound.”

Through prayer and patience, God gave me clarity. Every product, service, and message shared through The Sol Collective is rooted in His timing, not mine. I’m learning to embrace the process and remain teachable, knowing that every step forward is an opportunity to grow.

Join the Collective

This is just the beginning. My hope is that The Sol Collective becomes a space where love is visible, faith is unshaken, and lives are transformed. Together, we can celebrate victories, navigate challenges, and glorify God in all we do.

From my family to yours: May your homes be filled with love, your hearts with peace, and your days with purpose. Let’s be fruitful and serve the Lord—together.

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
